As host of The Biggest Loser, Alison Sweeney meets a number of moms who’ve committed most of their time and energy to their families, neglecting their own health in the process, just as she did for so many years. But in the newest issue of SELF, Sweeney reveals how she got into the bet shape of her life after having children, and what she does to maintain both her weight and her health for Ben, 6, Megan, 2, hubby, Dave, and most of all, for herself.
I gained 35 pounds during my pregnancy with Ben and 25 with Megan,” Alison tells the magazine. “When I was getting back in shape after having Megan, I told my trainer, ‘I want my body back!’ She was like, ‘Why go back? Go forward! Be the best you that you can be today. That might be thinner and more toned than ever.’ Turns out, she was right!”
